Algebraic multiplicity of a particular eigenvalue is the number of times it appears as a root of $C_A$.

• This is defined for each eigenvalue of a matrix.
• Denoted by $a_{\lambda }$.
• We can see the multiplicity by factorizing the $C_A$.
